State of Day is a Macy’s private label brand that features a collection of fine loungewear, sleepwear and innerwear. The brand is designed to help busy women feel more relaxed at home from sunrise to slumber. Our goal is to create a visual identity that represents a sense of comfort, ease and effortless style, and reflects the brand’s purpose to retreat, relax, and restore.
The primary logo has an ergonomic quality that conveys both comfort and relaxation. Set in conversational title case, the fluid letterforms neatly nestle into one another. The secondary mark combines the 'S' from State and the 'D' from Day in a comforting embrace to reveal a heart at its center.
Brand Identity and print collateral design for Hunter Bell, a NYC-based fashion brand.
Invitation designs for Irene Neuwirth, a handmade fine jewelry brand based in Los Angeles.
Birthday card templates for RoAndCo team, inspired by Zodiac signs.
We collaborated with MOIRE, a
small batch, sustainably and ethically sourced chocolate producer, to create some beautiful holiday gifts for RoAndCo’s collaborators and clients.
The design – butterfly wing texture with the moire pattern – is inspired
by the butterfly effect, that a small butterfly flapping its wings could, hypothetically, cause a typhoon.
As we like to think, spreading sweetness can have a huge ripple effect on bringing more positivity into the world in a time that feels riddled with challenges.
This project was to create a series
of colorful and playful illustrations to complete a distinct and playful brand identity that celebrates diversity, inclusion, and curiosity for an internal team of Google.
Each illustration addresses a theme from business contexts, user journey, and pure emotion depiction.
In October 2024, during Breast Cancer Awareness Month, NEIWAI partnered with The Pink Agenda (TPA), a non-profit dedicated to raising funds for breast cancer research and care, to raise awareness of the disease among young professionals. Since we all have the potential to face breast health challenges, our “Awareness is Power” campaign highlights breast cancer and other health issues that can affect everyone. As part of this campaign, NEIWAI shared branded infographics on Instagram Stories, donated a portion of sales, and sponsored TPA’s NYC Gala.
My role in the campaign was to create digital and print visual assets for landing page, social and store from concept to execution on a limited budget and a tight deadline of roughly one week. I swiftly developed a series of illustrations to serve as the campaign’s key visuals. The expressive illustrations feature visible brushstrokes that are intentionally imperfect, symbolizing the challenges and unpredictability the disease may bring, while also adding warmth and humanity to the message.
This illustration was inspired by the brand Gelée and its founder, Zoe Messinger.
